Soccer Game Preview: St. Albert vs. Scotus

The St. Albert Falcons will take on the Scotus Shamrocks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

St. Albert saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of South Sioux City by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to St. Albert's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Scotus entered their match against Kearney Catholic on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Stars who were credited with the win. Kearney Catholic got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Scotus' three.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Albert fell to 3-1. As for Scotus, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

Everything went St. Albert's way against Scotus in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as St. Albert made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
