Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Huskies. That's two games in a row now that Washington have lost by just one goal.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Highland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Washington will head out to face off against Hillcrest Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will welcome Sigourney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
