Soccer Recap: Wood Comes Up Short

Wood was the 3-2 winner over Rodriguez when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Mustangs on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Wood couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Alyvia Vojkufka, who's now up to 11 this season.

Wood's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12-2. As for Rodriguez, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-1.

Looking ahead, Wood will challenge Vacaville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vacaville will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Wood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rodriguez, they will square off against Vanden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
