Basketball Recap: River Islands Comes Up Short

River Islands lost against Venture Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The River Islands Riptide were dealt a 61-32 defeat at the hands of the Venture Academy Mustangs. The Riptide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Islands' loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Venture Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Islands will host Millennium at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Venture Academy, they will be playing at home against Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
