Soccer Recap: Leuzinger Comes Up Short

If Leuzinger was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Inglewood on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Hawthorne Cougars who were credited with the victory on Wednesday. The Hawthorne Cougars got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Leuzinger Olympians' one. Leuzinger were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hawthorne earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Leuzinger's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Hawthorne, they pushed their record up to 10-10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Leuzinger nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
