Cedartown's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Southeast Whitfield County by a score of 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Woodland came up short against Cass on Tuesday and fell 7-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Colonels: they've now lost four in a row.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Cedartown has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.
