Baseball Recap: Queensbury Comes Up Short

If Queensbury was riding high fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Amsterdam on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans fell 6-2 to the Shenendehowa High School on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the High School: they've now lost four in a row.

Queensbury's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Shenendehowa, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Queensbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shenendehowa, they will challenge Ballston Spa at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
