Etowah never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Wheeler Wildcats. Considering the Eagles have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Etowah and bumps their season record up to 13-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Wheeler, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Etowah is set to square off against their familiar foe Walton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wheeler will face off against rival North Cobb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
