Soccer Recap: Florin Comes Up Short

Florin lost against Rosemont back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Florin Panthers lost 5-0 to the Rosemont Wolverines. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Wolverines are ranked 207th).

Florin is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4-1. As for Rosemont, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Florin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Valley on the 12th. As for Rosemont, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Monterey Trail on the 11th.
