Oak Grove had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They put the hurt on the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Panthers have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Fort Zumwalt South, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Grove will welcome Mid-Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they will challenge Washington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
