Rockford took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Nashua-Plainfield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Huskies 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.

Rockford's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-12. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.
