Football Recap: Princeton Extends Winning Streak to Four

Princeton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Nottingham Northstars by a score of 20-7. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 28-14 victory the Northstars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Princeton found their leader in sophomore Quinton Defaria, who threw for 167 yards and a pair of TDs.

Princeton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrew Foreman and Ellinton Hinds.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Nottingham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Princeton will head out to square off against Trenton Central on Friday. As for Nottingham, they will venture away from home to take on Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
