Soccer Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

If Dublin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hawkinsville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Dublin fell just short of the Jefferson County Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Dublin couldn't quite close it out.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Jefferson County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coming up, Dublin will venture away from home to square off against Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson County, they will welcome Thomson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
