Soccer Recap: Birmingham Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cleveland, Birmingham was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Taft Toreadors, sneaking past 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in January.

Birmingham's record now sits at 8-9-2. As for Taft, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14-1.

Birmingham will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will head out to take on Chatsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taft is facing Chatsworth at the right time seeing as Chatsworth is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
