Windsor had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the D'Evelyn Jaguars.

The team relied heavily on Izzy Eisenmann, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Camryn Cobb, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for D'Evelyn, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Coming up, Windsor will be taking part in a tournament against Holy Family at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wizards 3.9, the Tigers 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for D'Evelyn, they will challenge Wheat Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Jaguars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
