Basketball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Takes a Loss

North Bay Haven Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Seahawks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (57), the Buccaneers still had to take the loss.

Leading Franklin County to victory were Braelin Morris and Sadiq Jones. Morris went 8 for 17 on his way to 24 points and seven boards, while Jones posted 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Jones' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karcenpolo10 Karcenpolo10@Gmail.Com, who earned eight points.

North Bay Haven Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

North Bay Haven Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Laurel Hill on the 20th. Franklin County has also already played their next game, a 55-44 defeat against Community Leadership Academy on the 18th.
