Recap: Gateway Gators vs. Taylor Allderdice Dragons
The Gateway Gators were the 48-18 winner over the Taylor Allderdice Dragons when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Gateway took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taylor Allderdice on Tuesday. Gateway can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Despite the loss, Gateway still got an impressive performance from Anayla Jordan, who scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds. Jordan scored a full 46% of Gateway's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aubrie Lovelace, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Taylor Allderdice, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Gateway will head out on the road to face off against Deer Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Deer Lakes is ranked 131st, while Gateway is ranked 137th). As for Taylor Allderdice, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome West Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
