Recap: Credo Gryphon vs. Roseland University Prep Knights
The Credo Gryphon's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 31-24 victory over Roseland University Prep. This was payback for Credo, who suffered a 38-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Credo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maya Leach, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Hope Madden, who scored six points.
Credo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Roseland University Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Credo will take on Sonoma Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roseland University Prep, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Roseland Collegiate Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Roseland Collegiate Prep is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
