Baseball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was the 6-0 winner over Bloomer when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oredockers fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 9-8 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Oredockers have lost by just one run.

Ashland has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Bloomer, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

As of now, neither Ashland nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
