Volleyball Recap: Southwest Dekalb Has No Trouble Against Cross Keys

Southwest DeKalb won the last time they faced Cross Keys and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Phoenix 3-0. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Their offense was headlined by Keirra Dickey and Brianna Falk, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Janai Townes and her 15 assists. Aivah Peters controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Southwest DeKalb has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Cross Keys, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Southwest DeKalb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Marist on the 7th. Cross Keys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
