Barnstable won the last time they faced Dennis-Yarmouth Regional and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Hawks put the hurt on the Dolphins with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Barnstable was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-18.

Ava Johnston paced Barnstable's offense, picking up 11 kills. Johnston got some help from Nicky Murphy and her 22 assists.

The victory got Barnstable back to even at 5-5. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barnstable will face off against Winchester at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they will take on Sandwich at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
