Texico never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Tularosa Wildcats 53-0. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Wolverines this season.

Texico found their leader in sophomore Cross Figg, who picked up 116 receiving yards and three scores, and also rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns. Figg's superb passer rating of 177.1 also marked a new season-high. Bennett Wahlen was another key player, throwing for 156 yards and four TDs on only six passes.

The victory (which was Texico's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.4 points on average over those games. As for Tularosa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Texico nor Tularosa have any future games scheduled.
