Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Beats Lagrange for Their Third Straight Victory

Trinity Christian entered their tilt with LaGrange on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Grangers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 back in August.

Mary Ruth Adkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for LaGrange, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will head out to challenge Spalding at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaGrange, they will venture away from home to take on Starr's Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
