Soccer Recap: Turner County Falls to Atkinson County in First Game of Season

Turner County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Atkinson County Rebels, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now lost five in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Atkinson County and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Turner County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Echols County on the 27th. As for Atkinson County, they will challenge Irwin County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atkinson County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.
