Soccer Recap: Franklin Extends Winning Streak to Three

After failing to score in their last game, Franklin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pleasant Valley on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Pleasant Valley Vikings as they made off with a 5-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with four goals.

Their offense was hitting Pleasant Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The victory was the third in a row for Franklin, bringing their record for this year to 4-4-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4-2.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Monterey Trail on the 8th. Pleasant Valley has also already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Las Plumas on the 7th.
