Softball Recap: Clarinda Wins Going Away Against Panorama

While Clarinda put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Panorama. The Cardinals were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Clarinda has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Panorama, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarinda will take on Lewis Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 3.8, the Titans 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Panorama, they will face off against Ogden at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
