Recap: Milton Hershey Spartans vs. Hershey Trojans
The Milton Hershey Spartans won against the Hershey Trojans last Saturday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Milton Hershey breezed by Hershey on the road to the tune of 57-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Milton Hershey has posted yet this season.
Milton Hershey was led to victory by Erika Seymore and Tarianda Washington. Seymore scored 14 points along with eight steals, while Washington scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Seymore is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrie Walker-smith(st), who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Milton Hershey and bumps their season record up to 6-5. As for Hershey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton Hershey will take on Susquehanna Township at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Susquehanna Township presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Milton Hershey in Pennsylvania (Susquehanna Township is ranked 41st, while Milton Hershey is ranked 405th). As for Hershey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lower Dauphin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
