Baseball Recap: McIntosh Takes a Loss

McIntosh lost against Northgate last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The McIntosh Chiefs came up short against the Northgate Vikings, falling 10-2. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McIntosh saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

McIntosh's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Northgate, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

McIntosh will venture away from home to challenge Langston Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Langston Hughes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Northgate, they will welcome Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dutchtown has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Northgate will come in with four straight wins.
