Softball Recap: McDonough Takes a Loss

After flying high against Stockbridge on Tuesday, McDonough came back down to earth. The Warhawks came up short against the Union Grove Wolverines on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Warhawks have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

McDonough's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Union Grove, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat McDonough by a score of 9-0 later that day.
