Soccer Recap: Cook Comes Up Short

If Cook was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Bacon County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cook Hornets fell just short of the Tattnall County Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Alan Garcia and Connor Medley scored all three of Cook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Cook's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tattnall County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Cook will take on Dooly County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dooly County will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Cook surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tattnall County, they will square off against Vidalia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
