With a playoff win on the line, Needles rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 68-29 win over the GV Christian Guardians. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 23 points or more this season.

Needles got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Harvey out in front who went 9-for-11 en route to 18 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Harvey is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games she's played. Gianna Collier was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 18 offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Needles' record now sits at 22-3. As for GV Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.

Needles has already played their next matchup, a 44-22 win against Lincoln County on the 15th. GV Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
