Baseball Recap: Archer Takes a Loss

Archer's last matchup with Grayson could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Rams, falling 17-7. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Apollo Bailey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Noah Parsons was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Archer's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Grayson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Archer beat the Rams by a score of 10-1 on Friday.
