Scott had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Newport Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Scott will square off against Harrison County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newport Central Catholic, they will take on Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
