Volleyball Recap: St. Stephens Takes a Loss

St. Stephens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Foard Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Addison Granger paced St. Stephens' offense, picking up 15 kills. Granger got some help from Addison Smith and her 20 assists. Natalie Escamilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. Stephens' loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Foard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

St. Stephens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Freedom on the 30th. As for Foard, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against East Lincoln on the 30th.
