Soccer Recap: Helix Comes Up Short

Helix's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders by a score of 2-1. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Helix's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Mater Dei Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Helix didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Valhalla on the 3rd. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against La Jolla on the 6th.
