Baseball Recap: Apalachee Takes a Loss

Apalachee and Houston County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Apalachee had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 6-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Houston County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Houston County beat Apalachee by a score of 11-0 later that day.
