Soccer Recap: Sacramento Country Day Comes Up Short

Sacramento Country Day managed to slip by John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers lost 10-1 to the John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills Patriots on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Cavaliers were already down 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Dylan Corcoran, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sacramento Country Day and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1-1.

Coming up, Sacramento Country Day will venture away from home to take on Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, they will face off against Cristo Rey at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
