Passers beware: Brooks Hayden came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made four total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Maiden fell to Hickory 38-21. We hope Hayden's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Hayden and Maiden will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bandys at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Blue Devils are 9-1 against the Trojans going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
