Baseball Recap: Norcross Takes a Loss

Norcross had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 9-21 to make it four. They came up short against the Duluth Wildcats, falling 13-3. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 9-6.

As for Duluth, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.

For Duluth's part, the team relied heavily on Daniel Aleman, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits Aleman has posted since back in February. Jesus Pacheco was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

As of now, neither Norcross nor Duluth have any future games scheduled.
