Volleyball Recap: Northland Prep Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Northland Prep Academy was the 2-1 winner over Camp Verde when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Spartans' undefeated start to the season.

Zillah Wildblood-Crawford paced Northland Prep Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Wildblood-Crawford got some help from Makenna Murphy and her 26 assists. Piper McGourin and Malia Turner kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northland Prep Academy fell to 4-1. As for Camp Verde, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Northland Prep Academy has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Paradise Honors on the 30th. As for Camp Verde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against North Valley Christian Academy on the 30th.
