Basketball Recap: Washington Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Washington had lost three straight headed into Thursday's game, but Kyndra Wynn didn't let it get to four. The Washington Prexies put the hurt on the Charleroi Cougars with a sharp 50-27 win on Thursday thanks in part to Wynn, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Charleroi, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Washington will take on Brownsville in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Brownsville's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Washington's offense will have their work cut out for them. Charleroi and Frazier will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
