Soccer Recap: Channel Islands Takes a Loss

Channel Islands's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to the Fillmore Flashes. The Raiders have struggled against the Flashes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Channel Islands now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Fillmore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Channel Islands will challenge Carpinteria at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fillmore, they will square off against Santa Paula at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
