After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Creekview, Sequoyah was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Woodstock Wolverines 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won four in a row.

Sequoyah's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Woodstock, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sequoyah is set to square off against their familiar foe Lassiter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodstock will take on rival Creekview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
