Basketball Recap: Levi Fowler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead NC H over Surry Homeschool

If NC H was feeling good fresh off their 77-42 takedown of Faith Christian Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Heat came up short against the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots on Tuesday, falling 77-51. The Heat were down 58-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

NC H's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Fowler, who posted ten points and eight rebounds. Asher Fowler was another key player, putting up eight points and nine boards.

NC H's record is now 1-1. As for Surry HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

NC H has already played their next matchup, a 75-22 victory against Salem Christian School on the 20th. As for Surry HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-51 win against the Heat on the 18th.
