Softball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Has No Trouble Against Webster City

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carlisle, Martensdale-St. Mary was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Webster City Lynx. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Martensdale-St. Mary's has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Webster City, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Martensdale-St. Mary's has already played their next match (against Southeast Warren), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Webster City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 loss against Humboldt on the 16th.
