Football Recap: Wamego Comes Up Short

Wamego managed to slip by Hayden the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Raiders were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Red Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hayden, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Wamego will be playing at home against Buhler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hayden, they will head out on the road to challenge Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
