Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Concord against Ygnacio Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
