The Concord Bears football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Ygnacio Valley Wolves to 8 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Bears play the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo - Mountain test, on Saturday, November 1. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 56-7 league loss to Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA).

With the defeat, Ygnacio Valley drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA) to meet the Red Devils in a Diablo - Mountain test on Friday, October 31. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Mt. Diablo won 56-7 in their recent league challenge against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA)
