Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Futures). They never let the Capital College & Career Academy Ants get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. Alex Nikolaiev was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win snapped Futures' losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 4-4-1 record. As for Capital College & Career Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Futures will face off against Forest Lake Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Futures' defense better be ready for this one: Forest Lake Christian have averaged an impressive 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Capital College & Career Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while.
