Recap: Brockway Rovers vs. Elk County Catholic Crusaders
The Brockway Rovers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 60-30 loss at the hands of Elk County Catholic. Brockway has not had much luck with Elk County Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Brockway lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rheanna Spinda, who scored four points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Brockway struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Brockway's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Elk County Catholic, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Brockway will head out on the road to face off against Curwensville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Curwensville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Elk County Catholic, they will be playing at home against DuBois Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
